New Orleans Saints release starting defensive end…

The New Orleans Saints made perhaps their most surprising move of preseason Tuesday when they released veteran starting left defensive end Alex Brown. Brown, a 10-year veteran who appeared in 143 consecutive games — the longest current consecutive games streak for a defensive end — was among 11 players released by the team to get down to the NFL’s roster limit of 80 players
