The New Orleans Saints were joined at practice Sunday by wide receiver Marques Colston and cornerback Tracy Porter, two key players for the team as they head toward the 2011 season.

Porter made his first practice appearance of camp. He has knee surgery following the 2010 season, in which he missed four games.

No decision has been made yet on whether he will play in the Saints second preseason game Saturday at Houston, according to Porter, although he felt no pain and the coaches told him he looked smooth in his return.

Colston, who had surgery on his kneecap in the off-season, had missed six practices over the last week of training camp and, like Porter, was scratched from New Orleans 24-7 victory over San Francisco last week.

He said some minor irritation and swelling that set him back has not recurred and he expects to play against the Texans.

Here is an updated training camp schedule for the New Orleans Saints.

Training camp practice sessions are available on a first-come,
first-served basis. Bleacher seating is available along the north and
west sides of the team’s training facility, there is no reserved
seating. Standing room along the fence line is permitted. There is no
admission charge for watching training camp practice and parking is
free. Public parking is available in parking lots close to the team
facility off of Airline Drive in Metairie.
